A large brand name company with Accounting teams servicing Milton, Hamilton and Kitchener was using large Mississauga and Toronto based recruiting firms to assist with hiring a Senior Manager of Finance without success. This was a crucial role to the success of the operations and performance of the division as well as the development of the Finance team in other divisions.
Elby was engaged in the search and a meeting scheduled for the following day. The Account Manager met with the Head of Talent Acquisition as well as the Hiring Manager to learn more about the company culture, demands of the role and ideal candidate profile. Elby’s recruitment team implemented Our Unique Hiring process and assisted the company in finding, qualifying, and hiring the candidate.
The candidate hired was presented to the client company 3 business days after the initial meeting and the entire process took less than 4 weeks. The person hired was local to the area and has been promoted twice since starting, they are now the VP Finance leading the Divisional Finance team. The company has since worked with Elby to hire an additional 6 members to the Finance team and the former VP Finance as since been tasked with rebuilding an underperforming finance team within another division of the organization.
